Question 4- How do I post to a newsgroup?
Well- If you have never posted to a newsgroup, do not just start posting. I think the last estimate there was over 40,000 newsgroups. This does not mean that this is 40,000 places to advertise. I would suggest that you go to Deja News and do a search for individuals marketing a similar product or service and you read the information on appropriate newsgroup posting. Newsgroup Readers do not like SPAM. If you do not know what you are doing, you will be flamed.
If you have posted to Newsgroups- I would
suggest that you write two or three different ads and post them to appropriate newsgroups.
I would suggest no more than three appropriate newsgroups at a time. When posting to a
newsgroup, it is better to become part of an online discussion and use your signature file
to promote your product or service. After reading a number of posts and showing your
experience, you will start to see individuals coming to your site. Keep in mind that
Newsgroup posting and respond may only represent a few percent of your website traffic the
most important items are search engines, link exchanges, referrals, and print advertising.

your potential customers shoes. What other products or services might they purchase? Go to
a search engine and pretend your a customer- When you come across a business, send them an
